Grupo GOCA is dedicated to building a sustainable future, and we are proud to have transformed over 132 hectares of land in the state of Hidalgo into a private nature reserve.

  • We restore unique ecosystems by cultivating native plants through our ongoing reforestation program.
  • We have implemented rainwater catchment ponds and canals for over 40 years to maximize water use.
  • We protect the planet’s biodiversity through our two apiaries: Matilde and Rafael. These apiaries support bee populations and help pollinate the region’s flora.
  • We collaborate with the community from El Campanario and our foundation Iniciativa GOCA to support cultural and educational projects.

Rancho San José

Extraordinary Honey

We are proud to share with you the love, care and hardwork that our family puts into everything they do, as Maty taught us. Our honey is harvested in a semi-desert area, and we take great care of our bees all year round. Our small and limited production allows us to give our bees the individual attention they deserve, resulting in a truly exceptional honey that reflects the extraordinary richness of nature.

With over 110 years of history, Rancho San José has witnessed the growth and evolution of our family. The teachings of Rafael and Maty, as well as their passion and culture of hard work, are part of the great legacy that we all protect at Grupo GOCA. Rancho San José is both our past and our future as a business group.

Our products are inspired by the abundant biodiversity in flora and fauna found in Rancho San José. With our laboratory, LABDERMAGIS, research has been conducted to explore the potential of natural ingredients and their ability to benefit human health. The main raw materials and ingredients are from the native plant “Palo Dulce” (Eysenhardtia polystachya) and honey. As we continue our research, we look forward to discovering new and innovative ways to utilize the natural resources from Rancho San José,
